Rural Roundabout Design & Outreach

Posted: 9/19/2025

WEBINAR: September 24, 2025, 10:00AM - 11:30AM PT [CLOSED]

As part of National Roundabouts Week, the National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) and the NLTAPA Safety Work Group are co-hosting a free 90-minute webinar on Roundabout Design.

During National Roundabouts Week (Sep 22-26, 2025), FHWA raises awareness about roundabouts and the benefits they can bring, including how they save lives across the United States by reducing crashes that result in death or injury by 82% over former two-way, stop-controlled intersections and 78% on average where traffic signals once stood. Transportation agencies have recognized these vital safety benefits and installed more than 11,000 roundabouts nationwide.

This webinar features three subject matter experts who will share their expertise on rural roundabout planning, design, and outreach.
