The Recording of the Caltrans Active Transportation Program's (ATP) "Next Steps" Workshop is now available for public viewing.
This August 2025 webinar outlines the next steps for Cycle 7 awarded agencies on how to begin their ATP projects. ATP Cycle 7 is expected to release about $568M in project funding comprising federal, state (SB1), and State Highway Account (SHA) dollars.

This webinar also includes an overview of resources available through California's Active Transportation Resource Center (ATRC), and is a helpful resource for both new awardees and past awardees who need a refresher.
The California Active Transportation Program (ATP) is a state-funded initiative administered by Caltrans to encourage an increase in walking and biking.
ATP has funded over 800 active transportation projects to benefit both urban and rural areas, with over 400 Safe Routes to Schools programs promoting a healthy and active student lifestyle.
