Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WORKSHOP: November 7, 2025, 12:00PM - 1:30PM PT
The American Association of State Highway & Transportation Officials (AASHTO) is hosting an online workshop about knowledge management (KM) strategies that have been implemented at state DOTs, as a way of capturing audience feedback that could help shape research products currently under development to make them useful and relevant.
NCHRP's ongoing Project 23-31A "Strategies to Foster the Implementation of Knowledge Management" has examined the history of knowledge management at seven state DOTs over the past 20 years to learn which KM implementations have been the most successful ... and which have proven less effective or difficult to sustain.
The products of this research are intended to help DOTs and other transportation agencies use lessons from past experience to help shape the future implementation of KM.
Workshop Topics Include:
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the strategies identified in the workshop, share agency experiences, and share lessons and tips that might be helpful to others.
No registration necessary, just click to join the session in-progress (11/7, 12-1:30pm)
