The California Department of Housing & Community Development (HCD) is now accepting applications for the Tribal Homeless Housing, Assistance & Prevention (Tribal HHAP) grant program, with a total of $28.5M in available funding.

The program supports tribal self-determination by allowing tribes to design and implement solutions that best meet their specific needs
California federally recognized tribes are the only applicants able to receive Tribal HHAP funding, however tribes may partner with other organizations or may designate other individuals or entities to complete the application on their behalf, provided the proper tribal authority signs and certifies the application.
