Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
New funding is available to protect and restore water resources in the Coachella Valley.
The Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy (CVMC) has opened a new Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) under the Proposition 1 Grant Program for projects that implement the California Water Action Plan (WAP) and address critical water management needs.
The Prop 1 Grant Program funds conservation land acquisition projects that preserve watersheds or habitat areas for endangered species, watershed restoration or enhancement projects, and infrastructure projects that improve water management by reducing use, enhancing efficiency, or preventing flooding.

The Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy (CVMC) issues grants for projects that support watershed health, strategic land conservation, vibrant recreation and tourism, resilient communities, and wildfire recovery.
Projects funded by the CMVC are developed by community partners with assistance of local staff.
