WEBINAR: January 29, 2026, 11:00AM - 12:00PM PT
The Vision Zero Network is hosting a free webinar on Speeding Up Strategies to Slow Speeds & Save Lives.
Discover new ways to make headway on managing speeds for safety, through discussions from national leaders reflecting on the past decade's progress and unfulfilled potential in using proven, existing speed management tools to improve safety on the streets.
Vision Zero Network Visiting Sr Research Fellow, Ivan Cheung, who led development of this pivotal 2017 National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Speed Management Report, will lead an in-depth discussion on two key safety tools getting increasing attention: Speed Safety Cameras and Intelligent Speed Assistance.
Cheung will be joined by safety experts from NTSB and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), who will share evidence, arguments, and policy approaches to help communities embrace proven safety strategies.
The Vision Zero Network collaborative helps communities reach their Vision Zero goals of eliminating all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all.
As a nonprofit, VZN is committed to building momentum and advancing Vision Zero in communities across the U.S., recognizing everyone has the right to safe mobility whether walking, biking, driving, riding a scooter, using a wheelchair, or riding transit.
"There can be no doubt that the transportation sector is the most critical sector of our economy."
