The National Operations Center of Excellence's (NOCoE) webinar Road Features for Automated Driving Systems Readiness Feasibility Assessment, Methods, & Tools examines the relationship between roadway infrastructure and automated vehicle technology.
FHWA’s Connected Vehicles & Emerging Technology team will present on their Phase One research findings, which include (a) feasible and non-feasible aspects of developing an Automatic Driving Systems (ADS) readiness method or tool, and (b) various ADS readiness assessment approaches, their advantages and limitations, where they may be applied by infrastructure owners/operators, and thoughts on further development.
