Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WEBINAR: February 10, 2026, 10:00AM - 12:00PM PT
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) Office of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is hosting a free webinar on Working Together for Safer Responses: Collaboration Strategies for EMS & Highway Safety Partners to explore how the collaboration among public safety entities can advance the Safe System Approach, improve post-crash care, and enhance responder safety.
Webinar discussions will focus on EMS and highway safety partnerships, drawing on Maine’s statewide collaboration model, where integrated systems and aligned Traffic Incident Management (TIM) practices support more efficient and safer responses.
Presenters will share how Maine’s cross-agency data sharing and planning have advanced roadway safety and leveraged available funding opportunities—demonstrating a scalable model that other states can adopt.
