Active Transportation Benefit Cost Analysis

The Ohio LTAP is hosting a live webinar titled “New Benefit-Cost Analysis Tools for Active Transportation Projects”. This session introduces Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT) latest Active Transportation Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) Tool and Cost Opinion Tool, helping agencies evaluate projects early and plan strategically for safer mobility.
The BCA Tool measures benefits such as safety improvements, economic impact, environmental gains, and enhanced mobility, while remaining USDOT BCA compliant for federal funding applications. The Cost Opinion Tool provides early-stage cost estimates, allowing agencies to prioritize projects and allocate budgets more effectively.
