Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WEBINAR: February 19, 2026, 10:00AM - 11:00AM PT
Vision Zero Network presents a timely webinar on Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), a powerful tool for preventing speed-related crashes that many public agencies and advocates are eager to implement but uncertain where to start.
ISA is gaining recognition as an effective intervention for reducing traffic fatalities, yet the path from concept to real-world implementation remains unclear for many communities. This one-hour webinar bridges that gap, providing public agency staff, safety professionals, and advocates with ways to bring ISA to their communities.
Participants will learn how to incorporate ISA into Vision Zero city plans and strategies using model policy language, design and launch government-led ISA pilot programs with aftermarket technology, and position ISA as an eligible and compelling strategy within the Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A) program. The session places special emphasis on accessing demonstration grants and funding opportunities to support pilot programs.
The Vision Zero Network collaborative helps communities reach their Vision Zero goals of eliminating all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all.
As a nonprofit, VZN is committed to building momentum and advancing Vision Zero in communities across the U.S., recognizing everyone has the right to safe mobility whether walking, biking, driving, riding a scooter, using a wheelchair, or riding transit.
"There can be no doubt that the transportation sector is the most critical sector of our economy."
