The American Public Works Association Southern California Chapter (APWA SoCal) presents the Spring 2026 Virtual Greenbook Seminar, a comprehensive five-day training program designed to promote the proper use and understanding of the Greenbook—California's standard specifications for public works construction. 

Session Highlights:

  • Proper use & understanding of the Greenbook & its general provisions
  • Relationship between Greenbook provisions & the Public Contract Code
  • Implementation of provisions during contract administration
  • Specification writing best practices & special provisions application
  • Construction methods & critical topics in public works construction
  • Progressive coverage of Greenbook sections across five structured virtual sessions
  • Concludes with a session on Specification Writing Do's and Don'ts

This 5-day program is structured to provide comprehensive coverage of Greenbook sections, allowing participants to build knowledge progressively throughout the week.
