Caltrans Geospatial Technology Proving Ground

Join the Caltrans Division of Research, Innovation & System Information (DRISI) for an inside look at the Caltrans Geospatial Technology Proving Ground (GTPG) and its groundbreaking research on Mobile Terrestrial Laser Scanning (MTLS) systems.

This session will cover the history and objectives of the project, key findings on deployment support, and test results comparing time-based versus distance-based control target spacing for MTLS accuracy. In addition, the webinar will identify cross-functional applications, including ADA ramp survey testing and data collection strategies.
